Agile in Fixed Bid Projects

Agile works quite well for fixed bid projects and offers the same advantages of reducing risks , early feedbacks and thus avoiding costly reworks later on. As long as we are able to fix the scope upfront or allow for scope trade off to happen, Agile works for fixed bid and benefits the customer as well as the vendor. As per a survey done by VersionOne, 80% of fixed bid projects executed using agile saw benefits.
